Soon to be Former President Bush is still saying stupid things
Almost forgot this guy was still around, but Boy George went ahead and reminded us why we’ll be happy when he’s finally gone. ABCNews.com is teasing tonight’s World News interview with this doozy of a quote from POTUS:
“I think I was unprepared for war,” Bush told ABC News’ Charlie Gibson in an interview airing today on World News. “In other words, I didn’t campaign and say, ‘Please vote for me, I’ll be able to handle an attack,’” he said. “In other words, I didn’t anticipate war. Presidents — one of the things about the modern presidency is that the unexpected will happen.”
Unexpected? Wouldn’t that imply the Bush administration had some sort of plan in the first place?
