And while he’s directed five to Oscar nominations, including John Travolta (Pulp Fiction), Robert Forster (Jackie Brown), and this year, Christoph Waltz(Inglourious Bastereds), he’s never seen one win. If Waltz takes home the Best Supporting Actor trophy, his will be the first Tarantino-directed performance to ever win an Oscar.
