New Muppet movie finds a director?
The death of Flight of the Concords will not be in vain. Vulture is reporting that the show’s co-creator, James Bobin, is being courted to direct the film from Jason Segel (you may have seen his penis in Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and Nicholas Stoller’s script. Considering just how bad the Muppet Christmas special that NBC aired a couple years was, it’ll be great to see some great comedic minds take on the classic characters.
Is this finally what we’ve been waiting for since the Disney purchase, Muppet fans? Maybe, but things are complicated. Vulture has the details.
