THE HURT LOCKER takes Best Feature at the Gotham Awards
RSSS

The Hurt Locker scored the first big win of Oscar season at tonight’s Gotham Independent Film Awards. Last year, Frozen River took its Gotham win all the way to the Oscar red carpet, nabbing a nomination for Best Actress (Melissa Leo) and Best Original Screenplay (Courtney Hunt). With Hollywood player Kathryn Bigelow at the helm of The Hurt Locker (she is James Cameron’s ex-wife, after all), chances are this one will have longer legs.
