BURLESQUE gets steamy! Eric Dane joins the movie musical cast
Director Steve Antin’s Burlesque has added another cast member. Grey’s Anatomy‘s Eric “McSteamy” Dane will join Christina Aguilera, Cher, Kristen Bell, Cam Gigandet and Stanley Tucci in the movie musical, according to THR.
The film follows a small-town girl trying to make it as a neo-burlesque club performer in the City of Angels. Dane will play a wealthy businessman who saunters into Cher’s nightclub with his checkbook in hand, only to have Aguilera steal his heart. THR keeps comparing this to Cabaret, but that plot sounds a little closer to the movie that rekindled our love for the musical film genre, Moulin Rouge!
