Top Story: Warner Bros. must be pretty happy with what they’ve seen of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes. The studio has now hired Ritchie to direct an adaptation of the DC Comics character Lobo. (THR)

In Other News: The U.K. drama series Prime Suspect is getting an American makeover. NBC is planning to adapt the British detective program, which starred Oscar and Emmy winner Helen Mirren, for the States.  (Variety)

Another threequel for Martin Lawrence? After news broke that Bad Boys 3 is in the works, Fox has announced that it is planning a Big Momma’s House 3. Truthfully, I’m more excited about Momma. (Variety)
