Top Story: The blockbuster X-Men Origins: Wolverine has already spawned its first spin-off. Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role as the Merc with the Mouth in a film following the origins of Deadpool. Lauren Shuler Donner (wife of Superman director Richard Donner) and Marvel will produce for Fox. (Splash Page)
In Other News: Is Bradley Cooper the Green Lantern? That’s the latest rumor surrounding Warner Bros. upcoming superhero picture. Nothing is set. No deal has been signed. But with preproduction scheduled to start in July, it’s only a matter of time before one of the rumors (Chris Pine, Brian Austin Green, etc.) proves true. (HitFix)
