Harry Potter Series FANTASTIC BEASTS Will Be A Movie Trilogy

With The Hobbit winding down, Warner Bros. is turning to surefire fantasy cash cow Harry Potter for more movies that we first anticipated. The previously announced adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s Potter-verse book Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is now set to become a movie trilogy, according to Warner’s C.E.O.

In speaking with the New York Times, Kevin Tsujihara revealed plans for “three megamovies” with “magizoologist” New Scamander as the main character. The three films will be independent of the main Potter story arch, following Scamander in New York City seven decades prior to the events in the Harry Potter series.

I haven’t read the book, unlike the other Potter novels, so I don’t know how this will precisely pan out. But if you think it’s worth a trilogy adaptation then let us know in the comments below.
