MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5 Gets A Christmas 2015 Release Date
It’s rare these days to see a franchise get better with age. But through shear force of will, Tom Cruise has taken Mission: Impossible from an unwatchable mess to one of the best product placement action movies of the last decade. Brad Bird’s Mission: Impossible 4 is certainly the best film in the bunch. So naturally, I’m eager to see what Cruise and the new writer/director Christopher McQuarrie come up with.
Whatever it is, it better be good, because M:I 5 has chosen to hit theaters the week after Star Wars: Episode 7 in 2015. The fifth installment of the action franchise will hit theaters on Christmas Day 2015, so we’ll all get a little Tom Cruise under our tree that year. Unless the Church of Scientology objects, that is.
